Daphne transatlantica ‘Eternal Fragrance’

Common Name: Eternal Fragrace

'Eternal Fragrance' offers an extended flowering period - with the main flush in spring and continuous spot flowering throughout the year, particularly in the warmer months. Along with the dainty white flowers comes an exquisite fragrance. The perfume is a delightful scent, sweet and elegant- and almost continuous with flower production beginning in spring and continuing in flushes right through to autumn.

Uses:

Compact habit makes it ideal for large containers
Small gardens, patios and courtyards
Mass plant for perfumed borders
Underplant beneath open canopy trees
Low light, difficult sites
Feature specimen around rockeries or water features

Position:

Daphne 'Eternal Fragrance' requires a sunny to a lightly shaded site in most soil types as long as it is well draining. Daphnes do not like to 'sit' in water which encourages root rot.
Will tolerate both slightly alkaline to acid soils making this a truly unique daphne variety for the Australian environment.

Care:

Best grown in moist, fertile soils. Feed in spring with a slow release fertiliser for optimum results.

Planting:

plant in free draining soil.
