Description:

This slightly weeping Callistemon bears a mass of bright red bottlebrush flowers in spring and summer and spot flowers in Autumn.

Position:

Grows best in moist well drained soil in a sunny to partly shaded position. Drought tolerant. Also tolerates coastal areas and wet boggy soils.

Care:

Prune lightly after flowering to maintain compact growth. A low phosphorus fertiliser should be applied in spring and autumn.
