Position:

part shaded position. Protect from strong winds. Grows best in well drained, slightly acidic soil. For best results, combine soil with organic matter.

Care:

Keep moist especially in the heat. Apply compost mulch, leaf mold or other organic matter to keep roots cool. Trim lightly to shape in spring and feed with a specific camellia fertiliser or a complete organic fertiliser. Avoid lime.
