Position:

Protect from strong winds in a sunny or partly shaded position in well drained, slightly acidic soil. For best results, combine soil with organic matter prior to planting.

Care:

Keep moist during the heat. Apply compost mulch, leaf mould, or other organic matter to keep roots cool. Lightly trim and feed in spring with a specific camellia fertiliser or a complete organic fertiliser. Avoid lime.

plant in free draining soil and mix in organic matter and mulch well.
