Description:

Upright, multi-stemmed tree with a broad spreading crown. Masses of medium to large white flowers on current season’s growth. Blooms for about 110 days in warm areas. The foliage turns to a reddish-bronze in autumn. Exfoliating bark (after about 3 years) reveals a pinkish-brown underbark. Eventually grows into a large tree. Highly resistant to powdery mildew. Mostly disease and insect free.

Uses:

Sub-tropical to cool temperate. Can be susceptible to frost damage but recovers well. Drought tolerant once established.
