Description:

The highlight of this evergreen climber is the mass of sweetly fragrant, starry white flowers borne in summer amongst the glossy, lance-shaped dark green foliage. Slow growing in early stages but will flourish when established.

Uses:

A vigorous climber which is ideal for covering fences, walls, sheds and garages. Train up pillars, pergolas and arches for a stunning summer display. Useful groundcover.

Position:

Grows best in a sunny position in moist, well drained soil but will tolerate a range of soils. Tolerates light frost.

Care:

Prune out congested branches in autumn. Apply complete fertiliser in spring to encourage flowering. Keep moist in dry weather.

Planting:

Cultivate soil before planting. Dig hole twice the width of the container. Remove plant from container and place in the hole so the soil level of the plant is the same as the surrounding ground. Fill hole firmly and water in well even if the soil is moist.
